2410 In the Community

FLL:

This year the team mentored two FLL teams, one from Harmony Elementary and one from Stanley Elementary.  The Mustangs had fun interacting with the younger students and taking the opportunity to share the knowledge they acquired from their mentors.

School Activity Fairs:

During the beginning of the school year and on enrollment nights for 8th graders the Metal Mustangs are notorious for their activity fairs.  At these presentations team members promote FRC students interested in robotics.

District Sharefair:

At the Sharefair members from the team displayed their robot along side elementary school students who had created NXT robots out of LEGOs.  The goal of this presentation was to expose young children to robotics and show them how their basic LEGOs can model something larger and more intricate.
